1. Always post within the niche

Many professional bloggers pick a niche topic to blog about. However, it is very hard for some bloggers to stay on topic, especially if they are knowledgeable about different subjects. Bloggers who can not stay on topic with their niche will confuse their readers. As a result, they will not be able to retain visitors.
Additionally, it will be hard for that blog to be indexed on Google. Google indexes sites based on topics. If your blog is about the stock market, but your posts don't reflect the stock market, it may not be indexed on Google for stock market terms and keywords, though the blog may be indexed for other small topics. 2. The only way to make a blog popular or authoritative is to publicize it. While there are many ways to publicize a blog, one of the best ways is to promote it on social media networks, such as Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn. 3. Monitor all comments

There is nothing more unprofessional about a blog than spam comments and flame wars. There are many programs that prevent possible spam from appearing on your blog. It is also up to you to ensure that simple arguments or debates don't turn into flame wars, which can potentially deter visitors from your site. Every comment that insults another person's race, ethnicity, religion and sexual orientation should be removed from the comment section.

4. Be a guest blogger

The best way to gain new readers is to constantly post guest posts on other successful blogs. While it may slightly difficult to be a guest blogger on very successful blogs, it is usually no problem to be accepted as a guest blogger for small blogs.

5. Post frequently

This is probably the most important step. To make your blog very successful, you need to frequently make new posts. Blogs with thousands of posts are very likely to show up in Google search listings for various keywords, compared to blogs with only a few posts.
